The heart of the vehicle, the S20, is a descendant of the R380’s GR8, a high-performance DOHC 24-valve engine. It was famed for its top speed of 200km/h and its ability to cover 400m from a standing start in 16.1 seconds. It achieved its debut win at the 1969 JAF Grand Prix.

 Truly a GTR?

Are you sure your model was a GTR? The GTR had the S20 motor, not the L20. You probably won't have much luck finding anything about this car anywhere else but Japan. What country are you in? If you have an L28, you should have no problems finding out info about that motor....

I have the orriginal 4 door model GTR. It's been changed from the L20 motor to the L28, but many of the parts are the same. I'm trying to get a manual and so far haven't found one. Also the carbs are suppose to take some kind of oil in them, but I dont have any clue what kind. If anyone has any info please help me out so I can get this beast back on the road where she belongs.
