With its power of 700 hp and 900 Nm torque the TECHART GTStreet RS based on the Porsche 911 GT2 RS made the visitors of the Frankfurt Motor Show excited a few weeks ago. Now TECHART presents another exciting power kit with more then 700 hp. The TA 097/T3 for the Porsche 911 Turbo ensures excellent acceleration figures and a new top speed for the super sports car. At the Essen Motor Show, TECHART presents the kit at the new yellow painted GTStreet R.
Equipped with a plus of 174 kW (200 hp) and 230 Nm torque compared to the series model the 3.8-liter boxer engine fulfils impressive 515 kW (700 hp) and a maximum torque of 880 Nm. Excellent performance data underline the experience and skill of the TECHART engineers in the further development of the engine system. With fascinating 2.8 seconds for the classic sprint from 0 to 100 km/h the super sports car undercuts the fabulous time of the power kit TA 097/T2 by a tenth. The 200 km/h barrier is broken in 9.0 seconds. The forward propulsion stops not until impressive 352 km/h. The engine conversion involves the installation of the TECHART sport air filter, TECHART manifolds, the TECHART Turbo chargers VTG, the TECHART high performance intercoolers as well as the TECHART engine styling package in carbon-fibre. All modifications are perfectly attuned to each other via the reprogrammed engine management.
The TECHART GTStreet R impresses with performance and its look. Its capability is reflected in the extraordinary exterior design of the sports car. The significantly lowered front apron with a fixed carbon splitter and an adjustable splitter of PU RIM provides down thrust on the front axle and improved airflow to the brakes and intercooler. Eye-catcher at the rear: the rear spoiler made entirely of carbon-fibre with winglets and gurney flaps - handling in extreme conditions is significantly smoother as a result. A rear apron with an integrated diffuser in carbon-fibre, air outlets as well as carbon-fibre air wings close the GTStreet R program.
Typically TECHART: suitability for daily use. The hydraulic TECHART Noselift System for the Porsche 911 Turbo features a trouble-free backfitting, a rapid height adjustment of approximately 10 mm/s with particularly silent operation as well as fully integrated operation via a button with a status indicator at the roof console. Besides the perfect integration in the 911 Turbo, EMC-safe electronic control units, vehicle-specific CAN bus integrated wiring harnesses as well as high-performance test procedures are part of the premium development process.
The TECHART Formula and Formula II light alloy wheels as well as the TECHART Formula III forged light metal wheels, all available in dimensions of 19" and 20", or the new TECHART Formula Race lightweight forged centerlock wheel transfer the enormous level of available power securely to the tarmac. The TECHART VarioPlus threaded chassis design means that it is possible to adjust the chassis height by up to 25 millimetres, to suit the route conditions. The TECHART nose-lift system allows the driver to raise the vehicle by up to 60 millimetres at the front axle, at the touch of a button, to avoid unpleasant contact with kerb edges or steeply inclined upward road surfaces.
Passion and love of detail - the exclusive TECHART character is also reflected in the interior of the sports car. TECHART's complete leather furnishings ensure in combination with a delicately fashioned and custom-coloured decorative stitching a unique feeling. Individual decorative components made of carbon-fibre or aluminium pedals and illuminated door entry guards underline the uniquely athletic appearance of the interior. All in all, TECHART offers a virtually unlimited degree of freedom when it comes to customising the interior - with the TECHART-typical precision.
