Chassis: 909-002
Chassis 909-002 was the second and final Porsche 909 Bergspyder built for the 1969 season. With 909-001 allocated to Rolf Stommelen and Gerhard Mitter preferring to run his tried and trusted 910, it is believed that this 909 Bergspyder was not raced in period. Like its sister car, it has been retained by Porsche and is currently on display in the company's fabulous museum in Stuttgart. It is seen here during our visit to the Porsche Museum in March of 2010.
