Chassis: J12-C-990
Ahead of the 1990 season, this XJR-12 was built using the chassis of an earlier XJR-9 (588). It was one of the Le Mans team cars, where it was raced by Martin Brundle, Alain Ferte and David Leslie until the water pump broke. Chassis 990 was pressed into service the following year, finishing the 24 Hours of Le Mans in second in the hands of Raul Boesel, Michel Ferte and Davy Jones. Its final outing was the 1993 Daytona 24 Hours where it failed to reach the finish. It has since been completely restored to its 1991 configuration and colour scheme.
