Chassis:
Retained by Ford UK, this is believed to be the very last GT40 completed in period. It was displayed at the 1971 London Motor Show and was subsequently loaned to various British museums. In the early 1980s, it also spent some time in the United States where it briefly served as the personal car of Ford's public relations executive Walter Hayes. It was returned to the UK soon after and has since been used regularly for promotional purposes, most famously as one of the course cars during the Goodwood Revival meetings.
