Chassis: DB4GT/0151/R
Chassis 0151/R was the second of two Lightweight DB4 GTs bought by John Ogier's Essex Racing Stables. It was raced from the second half of the 1960 predominantly by Innes Ireland but John Whitmore and Jim Clark also had outings with the car. Halfway through 1961, Ogier replaced his two Lightweights with a pair of DB4 GT Zagatos bearing the legendary '1 VEV' and '2 VEV' license plates. Restored to the highest standards, it is seen here during the 2012 Goodwood Festival of Speed in the hands of James Freeman and Derek Daly.
