In 1991, it served as a spare car at Le Mans, while it returned to racing in 1992, winning at Silverstone. In 1993, it was part of Peugeot's Le Mans line-up, and was driven to outright victory by Eric Helary, Christophe Bouchut and Geoff Brabham. Retained by Peugeot, the 1993 Le Mans winner was displayed at the Grand Palais during Bonhams' 2013 Paris Sale.
