Chassis:
The penultimate 512 BB LM produced, chassis 41263 was sold French importer Charles Pozzi to enter in the 1982 edition of the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Liveried in Pioneer colours, it was entered for Jean-Claude Andruet and Claude Ballot-Lena. They started the race in 41st but failed to finish due to an engine failure. The car was not raced again and in 1983 joined the formidable collection of Jacques Setton. He owned the car for around a decade and then it passed through various hands throughout the 1990s. The current owner acquired the car in 1999 and in the following years successfully raced it in Ferrari Maserati Historic Challenge.
