Chassis:
Delivered early in 1965, this 250 LM was raced with considerable success by Italian Edoardo Lualdi. He scored numerous victories in local races and hill-climbs before returning the car to the factory in the summer of 1966. Soon after, chassis 6217 was on its way to North America. Following a two-decade spell in the United States, it returned to Europe where it was briefly owned by Albert Obrist before spending many years in Italian and later German ownership. In 2005, it joined the Miles Collier Collection at the Revs Institute in Florida. It has since been raced on both sides of the Atlantic by the likes of Gunnar Jeanette and Rob Hall. In the one-make Ferrari race during the 2023 Goodwood Revival, Hall scored an impressive victory.
