Chassis: 350
One of five Tiga sports racers built in 1987, this GC287 was sold to Dune Motorsport. It was powered by the Rover V64V engine, similar to the one used in the MG 6R4 Group B rally car. Raced predominantly by Neil Crang and Duncan Bain, it was not particularly successful. Chassis 350 competed at Le Mans in 1987 where it retired with engine issues after starting in 40th position. For the final rounds of the year, the Rover V6 was replaced by a more powerful Cosworth V8, which did improve the car's reliability. Between 1988 and 1990, the GC287 made select appearances in the BRDC C2 Championship with a fourth at Oulton Park in 1988 as the best result. Now restored to its Le Mans livery but fitted with a Buick engine, it is regularly campaigned in historic events.
