Chassis:
Sold new to Tom Frank, this DeKon Monza was extensively raced by Huffaker under the Executive Industries banner. Its first outing came late in 1976 when Frank finished an impressive eighth at Laguna Seca after starting 19th. Whereas most other DeKon Monzas struggled with reliability issues, the Huffaker engineered car was remarkably reliable. Franks's best result with chassis 1004 was a second at the 100 mile race at Pocono in 1977. His final outing came at the 1978 Riverside 6 Hours, where he partnered with Ralph Kent-Cooke to finish 17th. It was raced in historic events for many years in a red and gold livery. In the early 2010s, it was restored to its original white and green colours and subsequently sold to its present owner.
