Chassis:
Originally a works car, chassis 907-027 was raced by the factory in the 1968 BOAC 500 at Brands Hatch and the Spa 1000 km. Partnered by Ludovico Scarfiotti, Gerhard Mitter finished second and first in class at Brands Hatch and joined by Jo Schlesser, Mitter repeated that result at Spa. Following these two outings, this 907 was sold to an Italian privateer, who only briefly raced the car. Following a final outing at Estoril in 1972, it was retired from contemporary racing. In American hands, it was restored to full running order in works livery and was raced at the Monterey Historics at at least two different occasions.
