Chassis:
Sold new to an Italian customer in 1962, this was the only 5000 GT fitted in period with an air-conditioning system. It eventually ended up in Venezuela, where it was rediscovered in remarkably good condition in the early 1990s by a Belgian diamond merchant. Soon after its return to Europe, chassis 103.046 was restored to its former glory by Maserati expert Bill McGrath. The car has since spent time in the United States and is today part of an impressive Dutch collection.
