Chassis:
Following its three-season career with De Cadenet, the car was converted to a Volkswagen super saloon racer. In this guise, the car was raced well into the 1980s with considerable success. The well used machine, sans body, was eventually acquired by Ryan Hodges. During the early 2000s, he restored it to full running order and recreated each of the three bodies used at Le Mans in 1972, 1973 and 1974 respectively. The completed car was subsequently sold to the United States and later returned to Europe in French ownership. Sporting the 1972, short-tail bodywork, it has since been regularly raced in historic events.
