The second of the dozen Boano Abarths built, this competition roadster was sold new to the United States. It is believed to have been raced extensively in minor events during the second half of the 1950s. In more recent years, chassis 002 was in Belgian ownership and was completely restored to its original configuration in Italy. At a rare outing, it is seen here during the 2004 Zolder Historic Grand Prix.
