Chassis:
Completed in October of 1966, this is believed to be the very last TZ produced by Autodelta. It was sold new to Italian privateer racer Aldo Bardelli, who extensively campaigned it until eventually replacing it with a mid-engined Tipo 33. Both Bardelli's TZ2 and Tipo 33 eventually ended up in Peter Kaus' formidable Rosso Bianco museum where they were displayed for many years. Sold at auction in 2000, chassis 750117 was subsequently acquired by British Alfa Romeo expert Paul Grist. During this time, the car was raced at the Goodwood Revival by his son Matt. It has since joined a notable American collection consisting mainly of Zagato-bodied Italian sports cars. During the 2011 Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d'Este both Bardelli's TZ2 and Tipo 33 were reunited once more.
