Chassis:
Following its testing program, the first F50 GT was sold to a California-based collector in 1997 under the condition that it would never be raced. The new owner did exercise the car regularly during track days. Unfortunately, the very potent machine was crashed heavily at least once. Beautifully repaired, it still remains in the original owner's collection but is today only displayed at events and no longer used for track days.
