Chassis:
Among the very first Group B specification Lancia Delta S4s built, chassis 205 was one of the very first raced. The car debuted at the Algarve Rally; a round of the Portuguese national championship. Markku Alén lead early on but was eventually forced to retire with mechanical issues. The car was not raced again, although it did serve as a test and development car. It remained in Italy until the mid 1990s and has more recently joined the collection of a British enthusiast, who is better known for his love for Group C Porsches. Following a complete restoration by Giovanni Baldi, it was demonstrated at the 2014 Goodwood Festival of Speed.
