Chassis:
Sometimes referred to as the T163B or T164, this was a lighter still T163 flown out to Carl Haas for the final two rounds of the 1969 Can-Am Challenge Cup. Driven by Chuck Parsons in Simoniz colours, this, the last T163, featured a unique cut-off tail. Parsons finished an impressive 2nd at the car's Riverside debut, which would be his best result of the season, which he ended third in the standings. Following a fifth place finish in Texas, chassis 21 was not raced again. Following a 25-year spell in storage, it was restored to full running order by RM Motorsport.
