One of the very last of the twelve Lagonda V12 Rapide Drophead Coupes built, this car originally remained in the United Kingdom. It passed through various hands before it was sold to Australia in 1969. Here it stayed until it was acquired by the current, American owner in 2006. The very rare Lagonda has since been subjected to a complete restoration. The work was ready in time for the 2014 Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance, where it also completed the Tour d'Elegance. It was awarded second in the European Classic Open Late class.
