Chassis:
Sold to Eugen Grupp, this was the fourth and last T297 produced in 1978. It was raced extensively in the Interserie by Grupp with considerable success. He was competitive for several seasons, scoring a third at Erding in 1979 and a second at Most as late as August of 1981. Chassis HU92 eventually ended up in the United States where it was completely restored during the late 2000s. It was fitted with a BMW M12 engine and finished in the livery of the T297 that raced at Le Mans in 1978. It has since been regularly raced in the Monterey Motorsports Reunion.
