Chassis:
Another of the Camoradi team cars, this Birdcage was delivered early in 1960. It was immediately successful in the hands of Stirling Moss, who won that year's Cuba Grand Prix. Following a fruitless outing at Sebring, it was then raced to victory at Riverside by Carroll Shelby. Now in the ownership of Jim Hall, its racing success continued with three consecutive SCCA wins. In May of 1960, the car passed to Jim's brother Dick Hall, who fielded the car for Bob Schroeder, who also added several SCCA wins to its tally. Retired from active service at the end of 1961, it was stored for many years before it was acquired and restored by Stephen Griswold. Among the subsequent owners were Don Orosco and Lindsay Owen-Jones. The current American owner bought the car in 2000. It has since been restored to its Cuba GP winning livery.
