Completed early in 1954, this is the first of two V12 Lagondas built that year. It was first raced in the Silverstone International Trophy, where it finished fifth overall. A month later, it was entered in the 24 Hours of Le Mans, where it was driven by Eric Thompson and Dennis Poore. Unfortunately, the race ended very early after Thompson crashed in his opening stint. The car was not raced again in period but it was eventually repaired. Now beautifully prepared for, it is a regular winner in historic events like the Goodwood Revival.
