It is one of five clothed by the French carrossier, and the only one to boast a unique Coupe designed penned by Marius Franay himself. Finished in a silver grey paint, the car was shown at the Paris Auto Salon late in 1955 before being delivered to its first owner. He traded the car back to Franco-Brittanic Automobiles ltd. in 1960 and it remained in France until it was sold to the United States at the of the decade. It stayed there until a German enthusiast bought the car in 1999. By that time, the unique Franay Coupe was fully restored. It has since only been shown a handful of times in European events.
