Completed in the summer of 1931, this Zagato Spider bodied 6C 1750 Gran Sport was first registered to Alfa Romeo in August of that year. Its first owner was none other than works driver Giuseppe Campari. He sold the car on to an Elba resident before the end of 1931. During the late 1940s, it was acquired by a British diplomat, who later brought the car with him to Berlin. Some years later, chassis 10814314 was sold to an American serviceman stationed in Europe, who later took the car home to the United States. In January of 1987, it was acquired by a Swiss enthusiast and it has remained in the country since then. Upon arrival in Switzerland, the GS Spider was completely restored.
