Chassis:
Used by Jim Busby himself in the BF Goodrich team's four World Championship outings, chassis HU03 debuted at the Monza 1000 km. Partnered by Rick Knoop, Busby finished eighth overall and first in class. Later in the year, it was also driven to second at the Nürburgring by Busby and Pete Halsmer. After the BF Goodrich team replaced the Lolas with a Porsche 962, this T616 was sold Mike Gagliardo. He raced the car with limited success well into the 1989 season. It has since been restored to its original configuration by Jim Busby Racing. In recent years, it was campaigned in historic events alongside one of its sister cars.
