Chassis:
Completed early in 1956, this S187 was sold by OSCA to Italian privateer racer Gianni Brichetti. He first raced the car in the Giro di Sicilia, where he placed 32nd overall. During the following couple of years, he continued to race the car in local events with some success. In 1958, he won one of the two heats at the Coppa Shell Monza, while he won the S750 class in the Coppa Sant Ambroeus in 1959. Still owned by an Italian enthusiast, it was brought out for the 2014 Le Mans Classic.
