Chassis:
This is one of just three Convertible Coupe bodies built by the newly established A.H. Walker Body Company following a design by J. Herbert Newport. Operating out of the facilities previously used by Weymann, Walker used the pseudonym LaGrande to add a little more cachet to his creations. The cars featured a semi-automatic convertible top. Shortly after this example was completed, the fenders were updated by Alex Tremulis. They were made slightly rounder and were skirted. It was sold new to a doctor from Chicago and is today part of a prominent American collection.
