Chassis:
Commissioned by Commander Murray, this DB4 GT Zagato boasts numerous custom touches to make it more suitable for use on the streets of Paris. Murray specified a slightly heavier gauge body to make it more durable, a one-off grille designed by Murray himself, exposed taillights and glass instead of plexiglass side windows. Other features included for Murray range from dual circuit brakes, custom shields for the brakes to protect the Borranis from brake dust to a lockable glovebox. Before the end of the decade, the car was sold to Sweden where the next two owners used the 0190/L in club events. In 1972, the car was acquired by Englishman Tom Leake, who had already owned a sister car. He raced the car for four seasons before selling it on to noted Aston Martin collector Richard Forshaw. In 1995, Forshaw commissioned a restoration that would not be completed until two years later. Following his untimely death only a few years later, the car was sold at auction and since then has changed hands several times more.
