Chassis:
The first Alba AR2 built, this car was first raced at the 1983 Silverstone 1000 km. Driven by Martino Finotto and Carlo Facetti, it clinched the Group C Junior class win at its debut. As the works car, it also won the class at the Nürburgring and Brands Hatch. Towards the end of the 1983 season, it was replaced by the lighter chassis 002 and then sold to Vesuvio Racing. As a Jolly Club entry, it repeated its Silverstone class win in 1984. It was raced just once during the 1985 season and also served as the factory's team car at two rounds as well. More recently, it was acquired by a French enthusiast, who has had it meticulously prepared for historic racing.
