Chassis:
Through American distributor Carl Haas, this lightweight T70 Spyder was delivered to John Surtees ahead of the 1967 Can-Am championship title defence. He raced the car three times before reverting back to his earlier T70, despite finishing third and fourth. The car was then sold to Brian O'Neil, who campaigned it with little success in 1968. Its final contemporary outings came during the 1969 season in the hands of Tom Dutton. The car was eventually converted to a Coupe and ended up in the hands of historic racer Peter Dunn in the early 2000s. Following an accident, he restored the car to its original configuration. In more recent years, it was sold to an American historic racer.
