Chassis:
Completed in December of 1974, this is one of two RSR 3.0s originally retained by the works team. During the 1975 season, it was fielded under Georg Loos' Gelo colours. Piloted by Gijs van Lennep and John Fitzpatrick, it won its class at Le Mans that year. It was then raced by its successive German owners, which included Reinhold Joest and Willy Bartels. In 1976, Bartels used the car to win his class in the European Hill Climb Championship. In 1981, it was acquired by Portuguese racer Jorge Petiz, who continued to race it in contemporary events well into the 1990s. He retained the car until the spring of 2015, when it joined a formidable Monaco based Porsche collection. It has since been restored to its 1975 Le Mans class winning livery and specification. Ahead of the 2017 season, it was acquired by a Swiss historic racer, who has continued to race the car.
