Chassis:
Completed late in 1952, this is one of four 212 Inters clothed by Vignale with this style Cabriolet body. It was finished in black with a distinct red leather interior. It was acquired new by John McFadden, an Englishman living in Paris. He sold the car a few years later and it was soon after exported to the United States, where it was displayed at the World Sports Car Center in Detroit, in November of 1958 by Luigi Chinetti. It changed hands several times but remained in American ownership until it was acquired by Dutch collector Frits Kroymans in 1990. In January of 2010, it was sold back to United States. It has since been certified by Ferrari Classiche.
