Chassis:
For the 1975 IMSA GT Championship, BMW built five 3.5-litre engined CSLs for a two-car assault. This was highly successful starting with an outright win at Sebring early in the year, which was followed up by a victory in the Daytona 24 Hours a year later. All five cars have survived, and this is one of them. It is regularly raced with great verve by its current, Bay area based owner.
