The final of four 3.0 CSLs built by BMW Motorsport for the 1973 European Touring Car Championship, this is the car allocated to Hans Stuck and Chris Amon. They won the ETCC round on the Nürburgring, beating the sister car. At the end of the season the car was sold to the United States where it was raced by subsequent owners in the IMSA GT Championship. The car has remained in the United States ever since and has only had two owners since 1984.
