Chassis:
Built in 1998, this Viper GTS-R was retained by Oreca. For superstitious reasons, because of its chassis number, it was never raced. It was extensively used for testing and made a rare public appearance during the 2002 Le Mans Test as a Larbre Competition entry. For the race, the team switched to a different chassis. Oreca continued to own the car through to 2006 when it was sold to a Swiss collector in a late 1990s configuration and livery. In 2016, it was acquired by a French enthusiast, who briefly ran the car, very fittingly, in one of the test sessions for that year's Dix Mille Tours.
