Chassis:
Completed late in 1960 this all alloy 250 GT SWB was acquired new by Geneva based Garage Montchoisy. Finished in gold with a red stripe across the nose, it was fielded with considerable success for several drivers between 1961 and 1964. It debuted with an outright victory at the Rallye Lyon-Charbonnieres in the hands of Jo Schlesser and would go on to score several more class and overall wins, primarily in the hands of Gerard Spinedi. The car remained in Switzerland until the early 1970s when it joined the collection of Dutch enthusiast A. J. M. van der Lof. From the early 1990s, it changed hands several times and was regularly raced in historic events. In 2012, it returned home to Switzerland and received a ground-up restoration to its original configuration and distinct colour scheme.
