Chassis:
Swiss paper producer Gustav Eisenmann was the first owner of this Zagato bodied fifth series 6C 1750 Gran Sport. He would go on to own the car until 1947 when it was acquired by a compatriot, who campaigned the car in local sprint events. The third owner, another Swiss enthusiast, bought the car in 1955. During this ownership, it was re-painted red from the pale blue it wore at the time. By the end of the decade, the 6C 1750 was sold to the United States and in 1962, it joined the collection of Grant White. During the 1980s, it was meticulously restored. In the early 2000s and after more than forty years, it finally left the White collection and moved to Great Britain. Its most recent change in ownership came in 2005.
