Chassis:
The very last of the V12 engined Formula 1 cars of the second half of the 1960s built, this car debuted in the hands of Chris Amon at the 1969 Spanish Grand Prix. Amon set the second fastest time in qualifying and held a comfortable lead when he fell victim to his now infamous bad luck. A coolant line burst and shortly after the V12 engine expired. At the subsequent Dutch Grand Prix, Amon did reach the finish, placing third after starting fourth. The car's final contemporary outing was the Italian Grand Prix at Monza, where Pedro Rodriguez finished sixth.
