Chassis:
The penultimate F40 LM, this example was delivered to the new Ferrari of San Francisco dealership in June of 1993. This was the first Ferrari owned dealership in North America. The car served as the centre piece in the new showroom for around a year before it was sold to Japan. By 1996, the car already returned to California. In 2014, it was consigned to the Bonhams Quail Lodge Auction. Still in un-raced and un-tracked condition, it sold for $2.2 million. It has since been sold the United Kingdom where a racing stripe was added.
