Chassis 0311EU is a unique 250 Europa fitted by Pinin Farina with a convertible body. Although the styling is similar to the coachbuilder's coupe body, there are many small differences between the two. The most obvious are the flared wheel arches, more sculpted windscreen mount and different tail lights on the one-off Cabriolet. Finished in ICI metallic Shell grey with a green upholstery, it debuted at the 1954 New York Motorshow on the stand of Ferrari's American distributor Luigi Chinetti.
After changing hands a few times, the car reappeared in the 1990s painted a dark metallic red. It was acquired by its current owner in 2002 to join a collection of other Pinin Farina clothed Ferrari one-offs like the 375 MM Sport Speciale Coupe. After being brought back to its original paint scheme, the unique 250 Europa is pictured here in the 2005 Pebble Beach Tour d'Elegance and Concours d'Elegance. Celebrating Pininfarina's 90th anniversary, it was entered for display purposes only.
