Supplied new to the United Kingdom, this is one of just 17 Lightweight specification built with right-hand drive. It was delivered to the official Porsche dealer in Belfast, Northern Ireland, Isaac Agnew. In their ownership, it was used for several races by David Agnew. In June of 1974, it was sold to England and it was subsequently owned by prominent collectors like Nigel Hulme, and Graham and Judy Nicholls. By the late 1990s, it was acquired by David Bennett, who had the car comprehensively restored to its original specification by Moto Technique. The work was completed in 2000, and has since been used only rarely been used and changed hands just once more in 2012. Still in pristine condition, it was consigned to the 2017 Bonhams Goodwood Festival of Speed sale.
