Chassis:
The second N180, this car debuted in the hands of Tiff Needell at the 1980 Belgian Grand Prix. Starting on the last row, he retired with an engine failure on lap 14. It was then entrusted to Jan Lammers and Geoff Lees, who also had little luck with the car. After failing to qualify on his first outing, Lammers did manage to finish a lowly 12th in the Canadian Grand Prix. The car eventually passed to Bobby Howlings, where it served as a spare for the sister N180s he ran in British Formula 1 and Can-Am Championships. After passing through Swedish hands, it was eventually acquired by a British enthusiast in 1998. It has since been regularly raced in historic events.
