The fourth Series III 410 Superamerica built, this Pinin Farina Coupe bodied example, chassis 1305SA featured unique rear fenders and one-off tail-lights. Through the official Ferrari dealer in Geneva, it was sold to an American residing in the Swiss city. The car remained in Switzerland until it was sold to American Richard Merritt in 1970. Among the subsequent owners was John Hajduk, whose company restored the car and repainted it green in 1976. In the following two decades, it only changed hands several times and each subsequent owner cherished the car. During the late 1990s, it joined a longterm and secluded ownership. With just 57,305 miles on the odometer, it was consigned to the 2017 RM Sotheby's Monterey sale.
