Chassis:
The second Team Schuppan car built from scratch, this example is believed to have debuted at the 1991 Castrol Trophy at Silverstone. Driven by Jonathan Palmer, who described the car as the best 962 he had ever raced, and Eje Elgh, it failed to reach the finish due to an engine issue. The engine also let the car down at Le Mans and Autopolis but it did finish sixth at Fuji in the hands of James Weaver and Kenny Acheson. Not used again in period, it was eventually restored to full running order by Canepa Motorsport during the mid-2010s. It was finished in the Canon livery used during the final contemporary outing.
