Sold new to Hilton Pereira, this 962C was first raced at the 1990 Monza 480km in TicTac colours. It was then raced in the Hungaroring Interserie race by Henri Pescarolo. As a Team Joest car, it was then campaigned at the 24 Hours of Le Mans where an all-French crew of Pescarolo, Jean-Louis Ricci and Jacques Laffite placed 14th overall. Raced just twice more by Team Joest, it was retired from contemporary racing at the of the 1990 season. It was eventually dusted off to race in the Historic Group C championship in the early 2000s. Now in German hands, it returned to the track at the 2017 Dix Mille Tours.
