Chassis:
One of three Chrysler LMPs built for the 24 Hours of Le Mans, this chassis retired from the race early due to fire damage. It then became the first Dallara SP1 chassis to be fitted with the Judd V10 engine. It was sold to Doran Racing in the United States and competed in North American from the final round of the 2001 season through to the summer of 2003. In only its second outing the Doran Racing Dallara won the Daytona 24 Hours outright with Didier Theys, Fredy Lienhard, Max Papis and Mauro Baldi behind the wheel. Theys and Baldi also won at Homestead, while the Belgian driver partnered with Fredy Lienhard Jr to clinch victory at the California Speedway. Theys and both Lienhards also won the Mont-Tremblant 6 Hours later in the year.
