Chassis: LML/502
In December of 1953 Harold 'Wacky' Arnolt commissioned Bertone to build three Spiders based on the DB2/4 chassis. Chassis LML/502 was the first of these Franco Scaglione designed machines. Executed in competition trim, it was offered by Christie's in their 2002 Pebble Beach auction. Benefitting from a recent restoration, it changed hands for a very reasonable $360,000. Some years later it competed in the Pebble Beach Tour d'Elegance.
