Chassis:
Just like sister chassis 4509, chassis 4510 was sold new to the United States early in 1958. Through Carroll Shelby cars, it was acquired by Frank J. Harrison. He entered the car with considerable success for Walt Cline in SCCA events in 1958. It was later also successfully raced by Jim Hall. In the 1970s chassis 4510 was reunited with 4509 in the collection of the Hon. John Fellowes. In 1989 it was auctioned for a very impressive £1.2 million. Today it is owned by an avid American historic racer. He is pictured in action here during the 2008 Monterey Historic Races.
