Chassis:
This Model A was clothed with Sport Phaeton by one of Duesenberg's standard body suppliers; Millspaugh & Irish. Also based in Indianapolis, they had built the body for the very first Duesenberg road cars. The featured example, chassis number 798 and engine number 1111, was originally built in 1922. In recent years it has been meticulously restored. The Millspaugh & Irish Sport Phaeton is seen here during the 2010 Pebble Beach Tour and Concours d'Elegance.
